La A6 Ultra continua con i concetti innovativi che si trovano in tutta la serie A delle chitarre Godin, come ad esempio la combinazione plugged-in incredibile di un sound acustico con la sensazione di un manico elettrico, insieme ad un design del corpo chambered che elimina virtualmente il feedback in contesti Live & Loud. Queste caratteristiche stanno meglio che mai nella A6 Ultra con l'aggiunta di un humbucker Godin full-tone al manico, insieme ad un trasduttore sotto-sella, ad una doppia uscita (acustica ed elettrica) che si uniscono ad un grande suono e ad una sezione Godin Preamp personalizzata specificamente per la A6 Ultra.
